Resource Information Changes
-
The page has been divided into Technical Information, Contact Information, and
Resource Detail sections. This should make it easier to manage resource details.
-
Generic Resource checkbox
Checking this box will allow multiple instances of the resource to be added to an
event. This is useful for sites that use "Non-specified" KORRS resources to
schedule multiple endpoints on their campus(es).
-
Active checkbox
Un-checking this box will remove the resource from public listings, preventing it
from being selected when scheduling an event. The resource will still be visible
on events to which it has already been invited. Un-check it if you take your endpoint
offline, and simply re-check it if you wish to make it active again.
-
Organizations can easily add links to Driving Directions and Usage Policy
information under Resource Details.
Event Scheduling Changes
-
When scheduling or editing an event that has only 2 resources, you'll see a Request
MCU Attention checkbox. Check the box if you need MCU Dial-in numbers assigned to
your event, leave it blank if one site will be calling the other directly.
-
When confirming/declining event participation, KORRS schedulers can now change their
resource to Telephone Audio Only if the need to call into the event using a telephone instead of ITV.
-
Per K20 MCU scheduling policy, you can now only schedule events to occur up to 6 months in the future.
-
Some changes were made to editing events which prevent changes from being made to cancelled or past events.
Please contact the KORRS Help Desk ( korrs@sbctc.edu) if you have any questions.
